About Educate The Globe
Educate The Globe is a learning hub created to support parents, carers, and children throughout the primary educational journey.
Our work is rooted in a simple belief:
Children are natural learners.
When children are observed carefully, supported patiently, and given the right tools, they can develop confidence, independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.
Educate The Globe exists to help parents understand how to support that process at home, in school, and through everyday life.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower parents and children to own and master the educational journey in an enjoyable, straightforward, and accessible way.
We believe education should not feel distant, confusing, or overwhelming. Parents should be able to understand what their child needs, how to support them, and how to create opportunities for learning in practical and meaningful ways.
Children do not only learn through worksheets or formal lessons. They learn through stories, movement, conversation, questions, play, routine, practical life, nature, mistakes, repetition, and discovery.
Education is a way of life.
What We Do
Educate The Globe supports families through guidance, resources, books, articles, consultations, and learning support across key areas of primary education and child development.

Our Philosophy
“Give me the tools so I can do it by myself.”
This idea sits at the heart of Educate The Globe.
Children are capable of far more than they are often given space to show. They need guidance, but they also need opportunity. They need adults who can observe, prepare, model, encourage, and support without taking over every step.
Maria Montessori expressed this beautifully:
“Help me do it by myself.”
This principle reminds us that the child’s development belongs to the child. The adult’s role is to support the journey with patience, wisdom, and respect.
Education Is a Natural Occurrence
Every experience a child has can become part of their learning.
A child pouring water is developing coordination.
A child asking questions is developing reasoning.
A child reading a story is developing language and imagination.
A child helping to set the table is developing order, independence, and responsibility.
A child trying again after a mistake is developing resilience.
Education does not have to be an arduous formal task. When children enjoy the process of learning, they carry that joy with them for life.
Educate The Globe helps parents recognise these moments and use them well.
Supporting the Whole Child
To support a child’s education, we must first understand the child.
This requires observation.
When we observe carefully, we begin to see what the child is drawn to, where they are confident, where they are struggling, and what they may be ready to practise next.
From there, support becomes more purposeful.
We can scaffold learning.
We can prepare the environment.
We can offer the right materials.
We can create meaningful opportunities.
We can step back when the child needs space.
We can step in when the child needs guidance.
This is how learning becomes both structured and joyful.

Parents do not need to know everything to support their child well.
They need clarity, encouragement, practical tools, and a better understanding of what their child is showing them.

Anthea Davidson-Jarrett is an educator, writer, and Montessori-trained practitioner committed to supporting children, parents, and families through meaningful learning experiences.
Her work brings together child development, literacy, numeracy, practical life, independence, confidence-building, and parent guidance.
Through Educate The Globe, she creates books, articles, resources, consultations, and learning support designed to help children see themselves as capable learners.
